Northern Grape Project – News you can use (April 2016)

Itasca grape

Itasca is a new dry white wine grape cultivar to be released from the University of Minnesota. This is expected to be an important addition to current Wisconsin options, as it is highly cold tolerant and shows pretty good resistance to powdery and downy mildews as well as to grape phylloxera. If you are looking for a new cultivar to put in in the next couple years, you might want to consider Itasca.

Read more about it in the April 2015 edition of the NGP News. Or, visit the U of MN website to find out about it there!
