Stinger and Stinger HL Special Local Need Labels Approved for Wisconsin Strawberry Production
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has approved Special Local Need (24c) labels for Wisconsin strawberry production for postemergence control of troublesome broadleaf weeds. These labels are for two herbicide formulations of the active ingredient clopyralid. Please keep in mind the use rates differ between Stinger and Stinger HL because the formulations are different – read the label carefully. The Special Local Need labels expire on 12/31/2029.
The labels are posted on the DATCP special pesticide registrations web site: https://datcp.wi.gov/Documents/SpecialUses.pdf. Please keep in mind that the Special Local Need label needs to be in the possession of the user at the time of application.
Many thanks to DATCP and Corteva Agriscience for supporting this request.
